13.10-13.30h - Playa de MalvarrosaThe theme is related to the bank/beach, so it can happen on the beach, or river bank. The work talks about losing some imaginary skin, something like getting undressed on the border of two worlds. The person is getting out from water, while the footprints are dropping out from her/him, falling and printing in to the beach,(as a gestual painting) and staying there in a form of a shiny, fluorescent, or body color pigment. The way of walking out from the water to the earth will be determinate by gest that will be record of this loosing of imaginary skin. The skin will mean a protection, as well as a kind of mask, with which its possible to survive in certain circumstances, a mask not given by your own will, something in a real world like skaphander, or neoprene. Why flurescent, or shiny pigment: its because of my former work, for me the body, i am using (in paintings too) full of lights and colours, reminds shiny, rainbow surface of fishes.
